The Brand

I started FADA in 2021 after living in London for a couple of years and really missing my family, home and just our culture in general.

Thankfully I grew up with Irish, going to an Irish-speaking primary school from the age of four and spending my summers in the Gaeltacht in Connemara. So Irish culture and language have always been a huge part of my life.

While I was away, I wanted something that made me feel connected to home, but I found a lot of Irish jewellery outdated or far too expensive at the time. There was a huge gap between expensive pieces and tacky gift shop jewellery. That’s really where the idea for FADA came from. I wanted to create original Irish jewellery that felt fresher, more current and easy to wear every day.

Now 5 years later it’s honestly mad to think that what started as a small idea has now been worn by over 70,000 customers, with orders being shipped all over the world - nothing makes me happier than seeing the designs out in the wild.

All of our designs are created in-house here in Ireland. We’re not just choosing pieces from a catalogue and adding our name to them. Each one starts with an idea and is designed to feel like FADA.

I always hope our designs give people a little connection to home, wherever they are.
